For me , mind map = brainstorm. we just throw all idea about something event.Don't care about mistakes. Mind map have to be colourful because to easy to remember + have to do it radical style.

Novelty : quality of being new.
Apperception of something as being new by individual person or a group of person.
It's like you create a new idea out of something that already exists, for example this Teapots.
Innovation is a change in the thought process for doing something, or the useful application of new inventions or discoveries
what is desirable to users
What is possible with technology = Innovation
What is viable in the marketplace
Invention is a new composition, device , or process. It also often extend the boundaries of human knowledge or experience.
